Small Grants 

Better Community Business Network (BCBN) is a Muslim-led grant-giving organisation that has been supporting grassroots initiatives for over a decade.

 

We award small grants of up to £3,000 to organisations meeting urgent local needs and have distributed funding to over 100 community projects across health, education, disability, environment, arts, and social welfare.

The demand for small grants continues to grow. We now receive 300–500 applications per quarter. Since COVID-19 and the rising cost of living, the need for grassroots funding has increased significantly.

 

  • We aim to distribute £30,000 per month allowing us to expand our grant distributions to more grassroots projects in the UK each year. 

 

  • We ask for a commitment of either £1000, £2000 or £3000 per month, for a period of 2 years 

 

  • The entirety of BCBN’s overheads is fully funded by our long-standing corporate sponsor. 

 

  • 100% of your donation goes directly to the grantee, there are absolutely no deductions

 

  • BCBN is a registered charity, your donation is fully tax deductible.  

 

  • You will receive a monthly invoice.

 

  • You will receive a quarterly report setting out exactly how your funds are being spent
